OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2012. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov predicts that Ukrainian exports of goods and services according to the results of 2012 year will reach about USD  70 billion.

This was started by him in an interview with Ukrainian TV channels.

"In 2009 year we have an export in the amount of about USD  39 billion and this year I hope that we will reach a level of about USD  70 billion. And it will be about the level of last year. So we will reach the main task that faced the country - to prevent a sharp reduction in an export", Mykola Azarov said.

The PM said that this year the government was actively seeking foreign markets for domestic products.

Mykola Azarov said that to achieve this level of exports has enabled the ratification of the Agreement on free trade with CIS countries, the initialling of an Association Agreement and FTA with the European Union and the entry into force of the agreement on FTA with the European trade association.

"Intense negotiations, which we started with the WTO protecting our market, are negotiations with several countries on the conclusion of agreements on the FTA. Thus, the task that stood before us - to maintain the stability of financial and economic system is implemented", the Prime Minister concluded.
