OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2012. II Business Forum “Brazil-Russia: Strengthening the strategic partnership” was held in conjunction with the official Russian visit of Brazilian businessmen delegation headed by His Highness the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Dilma Vana Rousseff. The Forum was attended by A. Dvorkovitch, Deputy Prime-Minister of Russian Federation; A. Belousov, Russian Minister of Economic Development; A. Likhachev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development; Fernando Pimentel, Brazilian Minister of Economic Development; A. Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs; A. Repik, Co-Chairman of the All-Russia Business Association “Delovaya Rossiya”; Robson Andrade, Chairman of the National Confederation of Industry Brazil (CNI); S. Vasiliev, Chairman of the Business Council “Russia-Brazil” and Vice-President of Vhesheconombank; and others.

A. Dvorkovitch, Deputy Prime-Minister of Russian Federation, said that trade volume between the countries was insignificant and limited mostly by raw materials. He highlighted the fact that the countries had significant potential for cooperation in hi-tech industries.
