OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2012. The Ministry of Commerce of Belarus has added more names to the list of luxury alcoholic beverages licensed for import.

The ministry’s resolution No.34 added 12 new kinds of champagne, 2 elite cognacs, 8 whiskeys and 15 rums to the licensed list. The list of gins allowed for import to Belarus remained unchanged (4 items).

As formerly reported, to be an alcohol importer in Belarus a company should have an authorised fund of at least EUR 250,000. In addition, a company should have an alcohol turnover license and a license for import of alcoholic beverages.
