OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2012. The Belarusian government has adopted a resolution to raise the cigarette production quota for 2013 by 3% to 33 billion units, news agency reports with reference to government resolution #1121.

The quota for OJSC Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman has grown by 2% to 26 billion units. The quota for LLC Tabak-Invest has risen by 7.2% to 7 billion units.

There is a special government commission in Belarus to set annual quotas on cigarette production. Quotas may be adjusted on during the year depending on the situation on the market.
