OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2012. Anhui Provincial Economic Work Conference was held in Hefei on December 25. The main tasks of the conference were to fully implement the spirit of 18th Party Congress and National Economic Work Conference, summarize the economic work of this year, analyze present economic situation and deploy economic work in the year ahead.

Secretary Zhang Baoshun presided over the meeting and delivered an important speech. Governor Li Bin deployed economic work in the year ahead and made a concluding speech.

Wang Mingfang, chairman of Anhui Provincial Committee of CPPCC, Sun Jinlong, deputy secretary of CPC Anhui Provincial Committee, and members of standing committee of CPC Anhui Provincial Committee attended the conference.

The conference pointed out that since this year, facing complex macro-economic situation and onerous task of reform , the whole province has been focusing on the tone of steady advance and consolidated the results of development. The economy went smoothly and agricultural basis was further strengthened. The price of things dropped steadily.

The conference stressed that the opportunity and challenge will coexist next year and the year ahead is the beginning year of implementing the spirit of 18th Party Congress and also a key year of carrying forward 12th Five-Year Plan.

The conference also stipulated the main tasks of next-year economic work.
