OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2012. Nordea Bank won the annual National Bank Award-2012 "For Efficient Bank Management" presented by the Association of Russian Banks.

National bank prize established by the Association of Russian banks and National Banking Journal in 2005, is the top professional award in the banking community.

Expert Council of National Bank Award-2012 appraised all annual achievements of the candidates and awarded the best ones. Taking the decision in the favour of OJSC Nordea Bank in the nomination "For Efficient Bank Management", experts of National Bank Award assessed the Bank’s stability and its leading position on the Russian market, effective implementation of the development strategy aimed at improvement of business efficiency, quality of credit portfolio, as well as corporate culture development.

Igor Bulantsev, Chairman of the Management Board, got the prize during the awarding ceremony in the presence of Russian banks top managers, representatives of government authorities, non-governmental organizations and mass media.
