OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2012. Recently, Bank of China signed a Comprehensive Business Cooperation Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement) with China Development Bank in Beijing, which is an important move for both parties to further enhance cooperation level and jointly promote the prosperity and development of China’s financial market, ushering the strategic cooperative partnership between both parties in a new stage. Li Lihui, President of Bank of China, Wang Yongli, Vice President of Bank of China, Zheng Zhijie, President of China Development Bank and Yuan Li, Vice President of China Development Bank attended the signing ceremony.

According to the Agreement, both parties will enhance their cooperation in such aspects as consortium loan, financial market business, clearing and settlement as well as financial innovative products etc., strengthen overseas business cooperation based on the “go global” strategy and actively develop cooperation in education, housing for low and middle-income families and other public livelihood finance fields.

The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement is a new start towards more comprehensive and thorough cooperation on the basis of the past cooperation between Bank of China and China Development Bank. Both parties will make full use of their respective advantages, actively explore business cooperation way and continuously innovate financial products to provide better financial services for economic and social development.
