UTair Launches Second Daily Flight to Riga
OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2012. UTair Aviation announces the launch of a second daily flight between Moscow and Riga starting December 17, 2012.
Departure of the new flight from Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow is at 21:50 and departure from Riga International Airport at 05:35, all times local. Flights will be aboard comfortable Bombardier СRJ 200 aircraft with Economy and Business class configurations. The aircraft is capable of carrying up to 50 passengers. Estimated flight time is 1 hour and 40 minutes.
UTair launched flights to the capital of Latvia from Moscow in August 2010. During this time, UTair has carried over 54 million passengers on the route. UTair is actively developing air traffic with Baltic countries, performing flights from Moscow to Vilnius in Lithuania and Tallinn in Estonia as well.
Convenient connecting flights available at Vnukovo International Airport make the flight to Riga more accessible to the residents of the more than 50 cities of UTair's broad route network.
UTair Aviation ranks among the top three Russian airlines. In 2011 UTair aircraft transported 6,750,425 passengers. In the period from January-November 2012 UTair Group serviced 28.2% more passengers than for the same period of 2011. In 2012 the airline expects an increased transport volume of up to 10 million passengers.
