OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2012. Please be advised that on December 18, 2012 the unified list of constituents for the calculation of theMoscow Exchange MICEX Index and RTS Index comes into force. The new constituents list is formed based on the principles of the unified family of the Moscow Exchange Indices and includes the 50 most capitalized stocks. The transfer to the unified constituents list is an important stage of the index reformprocess.

The Exchange will continue to calculate the MICEX Index and the RTS Index using the current calculation rules until the new Methodology for calculation of the Moscow Exchange Indices which introduces the unified calculation formulae takes effect.
