One of them, "Will-to-win spirit diploma" from Perm Regional Trade Council was awarded to Valeriy Schukin, employee of OJSC "PMZ" shop №95, regular participant and winner of the competition in the category "CNC-machines operator".

According to Evgeniy Chuzin, Deputy Head of Department of cultural and youth policy of the city of Perm, the prime objective of the mastership competition is the promotion of blue-collar jobs among young people still deciding on their future professional career. Participants of the competition share this point of view.

Mikhail Smirnov, mechanic, OJSC "Perm Engine Company":

- Today it is very important to explain and to show the advantages of blue-collar occupation to the young people. I never had regrets about having chosen such an occupation. I like what I'm doing, I get pleasure from the results of my work, I have prospects for advancement - both professional and career.

I took the third place in the competition and I think it's a good result because all participants in my category were true professionals. Everyone was victory worthy and it was interesting to challenge them. My third place means that I still have some things to work at and to aspire to in terms of acquiring additional knowledge and professional skills.
