Fujitsu Computer Products of America Wins Award
OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2012. Fujitsu, the market leader in document imaging scanners, is pleased to announce that Nina Lutjens, vice president, Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., has received a bronze Stevie® Award for female executive of the year in the 9th annual Steve Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, and the organizations they run. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
“Since I was a young girl, I was taught to work hard and not be afraid to take a risk or fail. These are teachings I live by in my career that are driving my passion to always do my best in every situation and I’m proud of the accomplishments I’ve achieved with my colleagues at Fujitsu,” said Nina Lutjens, vice president, Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. “I’m honored to received such a prestigious award and be recognized amongst such an amazing group of influential business women.”
Nina Lutjens brings over 21 years of technology sales and marketing experience to Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. In her role as Vice President, Nina has focused on creating strong channel programs and alliances for the Fujitsu Imaging Products Group. Fujitsu has been the beneficiary of numerous distribution “Best Practice” awards under her tenure. Prior to joining Fujitsu in 1999, Nina held several sales and marketing positions at Micro Design International, including Vice President of Worldwide Sales. She holds several advanced degrees including a PHD from the University of Denver and a Masters degree from Villanova University; her BA is from Rosemont College.
More than 1,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Entrepreneur of the Year, Executive of the Year, Company of the Year, Mentor of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Communications Campaign of the Year, among others. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year. The awards were presented to winners during a dinner at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
