OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2012. Ryanair, Europe’s only ultra low cost airline, announced a new route from Vilnius to Chania in Crete. This new route will commence on the 1st of May 2013 and will operate once a week on Wednesdays.

Ryanair’s Baltic Sales & Marketing Executive Elina Hakkarainen said:

“Ryanair is delighted to give an early Christmas gift to Vilnius by announcing this new route from Vilnius to Chania. From 1st of May onwards, our Lithuanian passengers will have the possibility to visit the beautiful holiday island of Crete by flying Ryanair’s direct low fares route from Vilnius to Chania. With this new summer sun addition Ryanair’s route network in Vilnius will grow to 15 for summer 2013, offering passengers in Lithuania even greater choices for their summer holidays.

“To celebrate this new Vilnius route, Ryanair is launching a sale of 100,000 seats at special low fares for travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in January.
