OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2012. Vyksa Steel Works (VSW) has been awarded the exhibition’s gold medal for its project on developing ERW/LSAW pipes for pipelines with an operating pressure up to 2.05MPa and temperatures from -600 C to +2000C. VSW has manufactured its first batch of pipes of the K52 steel grade with a diameter of 530, 720 and 1,020 mm for operating under extreme conditions.

The OMK-Komanda magazine has been named a prizewinner in the Best Corporate Media of Metallurgical Industry of Russia and CIS 2012 contest in the Best Corporate Magazine nomination. The News in Details newspaper of the Trubodetal Plant won the Best Media of Pipe Plants nomination.

The jury nominated the Power of Innovations corporate film about Mill 5000 for an award in four categories of the Metal-Vision 2012 contest for the best video product in the metallurgical industry of and the CIS and the film won in the Best Audio Engineering nomination.

The work Autumn’s Maple of the head of OMK creative project department Vladimir Stepanov won first prize in the Best Photo of the Year contest arranged by the information and publishing department of the Metal Supply and Sales magazine for photographers of Russian metallurgical companies.
