OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2012. Tata Consultancy Services, the country’s leading IT exporter, has entered into a multi-year agreement with the UK-based hospitality chain Mitchells & Butlers. Under the agreement, Mitchells & Butlers (M&B) will implement TCS’ solutions to streamline its human resources and payroll operations.

M&B has 38,000 employees across 1,600 restaurants and pubs in the country. However, financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. “In the last 12 months, we have successfully upgraded our core network and replaced our old data centre infrastructure by moving into the cloud, whilst introducing a utility-based services model,” Martin Taylor, Director of Business Change & Technology, M&B, said.
