Parallel Invested over UAH 5mln in Additional Services in 2012
OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2012. In 2012, Parallel has invested more than UAH 5m in development of additional services, net of costs for opening and equipping its convenience stores. The portfolio of the company's additional services includes: convenience stores, cafes, a pizzeria, carwashes, car care equipment (in particular, air compressors for tire inflation and vacuum cleaners), toilet, shower and laundry facilities.
A new service, vehicle health check, has been added to this impressive list. In December, the company has launched a pilot project offering express testing for any make of a car directly at Parallel filling stations.
To this end, the company has bought BOSCH equipment, which has been recently presented at a Frankfurt exhibition. The range of testing and application makes the facility unrivalled. "Just for few minutes the equipment is able to test nearly all car systems, from an engine sensor to a safety system. A motorist can promptly get reliable diagnosis of his iron "patient" directly at our filling stations," stated Parallel CEO Yelena Khiliyenko.
The vehicle health check facility uses a computer database that helps to detect a problem for almost all makes of cars and trucks.
Parallel employees took a special course and obtained BOSCH certificates confirming their skills to operate the equipment.
Initially, the facility will be used as an additional tool in the company's mobile lab, enhancing Parallel' capacity for dealing with customer requests. Partners and corporate customers will enjoy the testing service as a bonus.
Further the company is set to develop this business, putting immediate testing points directly at Parallel-branded filling stations.
