2013 Budget of Ukraine Intensifies Social Protection of Citizens
OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2012. A hotline and a briefing for the media were held on December 18 in the building of the Cabinet of the Ministers.
During the briefing it was reported that in 2013, spending on housing disabled veterans, international soldiers and citizens affected by the Chernobyl disaster were increased.
Expenditures for these purposes increased by 5% compared to 2012 and determined by the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2013" in the amount of 328.4 million UAH, in particular:
- 75.3 million UAH to provide housing for war invalids;
- 95.6 million UAH. to provide housing for soldiers-internationalists;
- 157.5 million UAH to provide housing for people affected by the Chernobyl disaster.
