OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2012. Iraqi Drilling Company (IDC) which is one of the oil ministry establishments celebrated gaining the ISO certificate.

Mr. Idrees Al-Yaseri the Director General of the company said that the company's gaining of the ISO certificate is an indication that the international companies wants to deal with the company and depend on it because it works according to the international quality standards.

Mr. Yaseri added that IDC is one of the Iraqi major companies in the field of drilling and it rehabilitated more than 1000 oil wells indicating that the company aims to gain more shares of work with the international companies especially in Iraq

And said that the company is now drilling many wells in the Iraqi oil fields to participate in raising the crude oil production.

It is worthy to mention that gaining ISO by any company or establishment needs to pass many levels. First is training the workers on the features of the ISO 9001 of 2008. And second is the documentation which involves all the divisions & directorates in the company especially the quality system and then apply the documentation as well as the internal and external application from the donor of the certificate.
