OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2012. The heat exchange equipment will be installed by two holding's subsidiaries: MSU-90, JSC and ZARUBEZHETERGOMONTAZH, JSC.

The total weight of the heat exchangers to be installed in the nearest future is 288 tons. The completion of heat exchangers installation will allow the builders to complete the closure of the security building heat loop.

The heat exchangers are the part of auxiliary equipment of the nuclear power plant and serve for cooling the first circuit of NPP reactor.

Let us remind that currently the installation of the key equipment is widely deployed at the construction site of Leningrad NPP-2. By now, the specialists of TITAN-2 Holding’s subsidiary - MSU-90, JSC have already installed the travelling crane and the deaerator, and the specialists of ZARUBEZHETERGOMONTAZH, JSC have started preparation for installation of the polar crane at the reactor building and of the travelling crane at the nuclear service building.

TITAN-2 is one of contractors for building and assembly works in construction of power units 1 and 2 of Leningrad NPP-2. Prior to the end of 2012, the Holding builders are going to complete the construction part of works for all the buildings of the turbine island of power unit No. 1 at Leningrad NPP-2.
