OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2012. The “Attention all Graduates!” round table was held on in conjunction with the “PharmTech-2012” exhibition.

The round table attracted the representatives of exhibitors, HR-professionals from pharmaceutical companies, the representatives of ARPM and the students of pharmaceutical universities. The interns of the joint project between the Government of Yaroslavl region and the exhibition’s sponsor, “PharmTech Tutor”, shared their feedback from the internship at the exhibition booths. The round table was led by Irina Nadelyaeva, CEO, “Olimp Nauki”, and Elena Liphanova, HR Director, “NPO Petrovacs Pharm”.

The interns highlighted the importance of the programme as a source of unique practical skills impossible to get from universities. The internship provided them with practical experience useful in getting a well-paid job and served a stimulus for further education.

Victor Kostin, Deputy Governor of Yaroslavl region, expressed his hope for multiplication of this form of collaboration within the pharmaceutical industry and saluted the appearance of new forms of training for prospective pharmaceutical professionals.

Lidiya Titova, CEO, “Pharmaceuticheskaya promyshlennost”, said that she considered the Yaroslavl pharmaceutical cluster as an ideal example of synergy between education and manufacturing.

FAVEA also presented its keynote at the round table. Martyn Grivnyatsky, Head of Education and Validation Center, told students about the importance of professional skills for getting a job in international companies. Also he presented the recurrent training and internship opportunities available in the FAVEA Education and Validation Center.

R-Pharm’s HR-directors, Marina Kotelnikova and Yekaterina Repkina also gave speeches to the students.

Yaroslavl region’s significant achievements in creation of highly qualified workforce were awarded with a Federal grant supporting the development of educational projects for the pharmaceutical industry.
