TENEX Ranked Best Employer in Aon Hewitt International Study
OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2012. An annual survey of employee engagement conducted by Aon Hewitt has recognised JSC TENEX first among medium-sized companies in the Best Employers Study for Central and Eastern Europe 2012 and Best Employers in Russia 2012 rankings.
Winners of the Russian and European rankings – among which were Russian offices of the likes of Microsoft, Hilti, DHL Express, Takeda, and Mars – were presented with their awards at a special ceremony in Moscow, by Edward Stanoch, Aon Hewitt Director for Eastern Europe, and Sergei Lvov, managing partner at AXES Management, Aon Hewitt’s representative company in Russia.
Accepting a certificate of honour and commemorative token, Igor Loshakov, TENEX’s Deputy Director-General and head of the Directorate of Staff and General Affairs, said: “For the second consecutive year TENEX, alongside other key enterprises of State Corporation Rosatom, participates in this global engagement study, consistently proving itself as a leader in this respect in the Russian nuclear industry.” He continued, “ Obviously, our high performance is the result of our teamwork. We strive that all our employees understand the strategic goals of the company and State Corporation Rosatom, share the corporate culture values, and observe the corporate ethics code.”
As Edward Stanoch noted at the ceremony, this year is the first that the Aon Hewitt study has featured Russian companies so heavily: they won seven prize places in different categories (in total, 29 companies out of 400 became the winners in Central and Eastern Europe). “Our survey has shown that this region of Europe has a lot of ambitious companies that have a huge desire to develop and to achieve exceptional efficiency and competitiveness,” he concluded.
A total of 54 Russian companies from a variety of industries took part in the Best Employers in Russia 2012 engagement survey. It involved polling over 110,000 employees, including over 20,000 managers, and nearly 1,500 executives.
“The research does not study employers’ image, instead it evaluates how positive a company’s employees are, how much they like the company, and how high their motivation and loyalty is,” Sergei Lvov said. “For people the Best Employers study offers the opportunity to get data about how attractive an employer genuinely is, and for businesses to get figures on their staff’s motivation,” he concluded.
