OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2012. "Uralmashplant" will supply work rolls for hot-rolling section mills at Tata Steel France Rail SA Company (France), an affiliate of the world's fifth steel producer Tata Steel. The delivery term is February, 2013.

The rolls will be used in producing rails for railways at the modernized company's factory in the city of Hayange. After the modernization in 2011, the plant began producing rails of higher length (108 m) for construction of high-speed railroad network in European countries. Previously, the plant only produced rails up to 80 m long.

Formerly, "Uralmashplant" JSC did not collaborate with Tata Steel Group companies. "Uralmashplant" JSC attaches great importance to product quality and on-time delivery of order, because it will enable the plant to enter the highly competitive and profitable European market.

Tata Steel is the world's fifth steel manufacturer with annual output of more than 28 million tonnes. Tata Steel has factories in Europe, India and Thailand.
