OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2012. Belarusian veterinary authorities on December 1 imposed temporary restrictions on livestock imports from Russia’s Krasnodar Region to prevent A H5 bird flu bluetongue disease from penetrating the territory of Belarus.

Vet restrictions apply to live poultry, eggs, floccus and feathers, poultry meat and all kinds of poultry products, feed and supplements, as well as second-hand poultry farm equipment.

According to Russian veterinary authorities, A H5 virus was found in waterfowl in the city of Anapa, Krasnodar Region.
