MegaFon Presented New Mobile Payment Service
OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2012. MegaFon has presented MegaFon Money, a new mobile application for use on smartphones country-wide.
MegaFon Money is your wallet right in the phone. The service will allow subscribers of MegaFon and other operators to transfer money, pay for internet, mobile communications, residential rent and public utilities and many other things literary in motion. It’s quite simple: download and install the application on your smartphone and start paying from your mobile account any linked bank card.
MegaFon Money has been completely developed by specialists of MegaLabs — the operator’s special center for innovations and value-added services. The application will be available to the subscribers of MegaFon, as well as MTS and Beeline.
The service is unique since it’s enough to enter a phone number of receiver, amount of transfer and a source of debiting. The source of debiting may be either subscriber’s bank account or bank card. A receiver will just choose where to credit the money: a personal account with MegaFon or MTS or Beeline, a VISA or a MasterCard issued by any Russian bank or receive cash in any Unistream outlet in the territory of Russia. Regardless of a payment source or a way of receipt, the fee for transfer will be 1.99 % (including VAT) only. Any service user may transfer any amount of money ranging from 100.00 rubles to 15,000.00 rubles. The number of daily or weekly transactions will be limited for security reasons.
“We are pleased to present to the citizens of Russia another means of money transfer. MegaFon Money will be a simple and user-friendly service allowing money transfer or payment for services anywhere any time. The new service will be well protected against any unauthorized intrusion,” says Denis Zyryanov, director for financial services of MegaLabs.
Activation and regular use of the Service MegaFon Money will not be charged. For more details about the service go to the website of the Operator.
