OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2012. BS12ch TwellV is a 24-hour free-to-air digital satellite broadcast station operated by World Hi-Vision Channel, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui & Co. ("Mitsui"). Its programs are broadcast to approximately 37.86 million households throughout Japan.

On December 17, 2012, BS12ch TwellV will start broadcasting "Thinking about the World and Life at the Start of Your Career—BS Terashima Monday 9 Talk." The new program will be hosted by Mr. Jitsuro Terashima who is Corporate Adviser of the Mitsui Global Strategic Studies Institute in addition to President of Japan Research Institute and President of Tama University. We hope that readers will enjoy this program. A synopsis and broadcasting schedule are provided below.

Synopsis
 Mr. Terashima has gained a reputation as an accomplished commentator with deep insights into contemporary issues. In each program, he will talk with top figures from various fields about issues surrounding career prospects for the next generation. The program will also explore the meaning of work by looking at work placement programs. These programs provide the students of today, on whose shoulders the future of Japan will rest, with opportunities to think seriously about work by allowing them to experience actual employment on a more realistic level than is possible with casual jobs. In contrast with internship programs, participants in work placement programs also receive income.
