OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2012. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is ready to start using the tool of twinning-support for partners in Azerbaijan.

At today’s press conference in Baku ADB country representative Olli Noroyono has stated that implementation of twinning-program for Azersu OJSC will begin within the implementation of Multi-Financing Facility of Water & Sanitation Sector in Azerbaijan.

"Within the program the national water operator of Azerbaijan will receive support on operational, technical and financial management. Now we choose a consulting company for the program to be launched in 2013," Noroyono said.

He points out that the formation of the structure of the program is still ongoing, but Azersu did not request ADB’s support for introduction of SCADA system in its water and sewerage network.
