OREANDA-NEWS. December 12, 2012. Belarus is set to hold WTO accession talks by the end of the year at the WTO headquarters in Geneva, Belarus’ Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Guryanov told reporters in Minsk on Thursday.

China and Russia have pledges to support Belarus’ movement towards entering the World Trade Organization, Guryanov said.

In his words, an agreement has been reached with the WTO Secretariat to act in line with the schedule. “We have received positive signals from the European Union and the USA. All we need to do now is paperwork,” said the vice minister of foreign affairs.
