In an effort to boost the ever expanding online shopping market in India, Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, along with Google India and leading eCommerce partners, have come together to introduce the concept of Cyber Monday to India. Titled the ‘Great Online Shopping Festival’, this online festival will go live on 12th December 2012 at www.gosf.in.

 With over 137 million Internet users in the country, India is witnessing a significant growth in online activity. It is for the first time that an industry wide initiative of this scale is being attempted in order to offer users across the country access to unbeatable deals & discounts on the web on one single day.

 Jet Airways is the only airline among over 50 partners, including leading eCommerce, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance industries, offering customers across India their best deals for 24 hours only on December 12th, 2012.

 The initiative is aimed at encouraging shoppers to adopt online shopping module, with a focus on reaching out to first time online buyers. Jet Airways will offer special deals on one-way and return flights, along with the opportunity to earn upto 500 bonus JPMiles and exciting discount shopping vouchers.
