OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2012. The delegation of JSC NC "KazMunaiGas" headed by Timur Bimagambetov, Deputy Chairman of the Board, paid a working visit to TATNEFT Company. Members of the delegation composed of department heads, representatives of departments of JSC "Exploration, Production "KazMunaiGaz", JSC "Ozenmunaigaz", JSC"Embamunaigaz", "Engineering Center", JSC "KazNIPImunaigaz" as well as Chief Geologists, scientists and production professionals got familiar with the activities of JSC TATNEFT, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

During the four-day working visit the representatives of the Kazakh oil company met with the management of the JSC TATNEFT and discussed the purpose of their visit: study of the Company's positive experience in the main areas of production starting with the engineering design of the oil field development and completing with service provision, as well as familiarization with the scientific activity of TatNIPIneft.

Much interest of the guests was aroused by the high mean time between failures (MTBF) of the wells and the measures applied by the Company in seeking to increase this figure: i.e. application of innovative technologies, introduction of modern equipment and increasing the wells work over operations quality.

The delegation visited the wells of NGDU "Almetyevneft", equipped with systems of dual completion/production and chain drives. The guests got acquainted with the process of manufacturing chain drives and pipes with anti-corrosion coating at the Bugulma Mechanical Plant.

During the visit the representatives of the Kazakh oil company visited one of the largest research centers in the oil industry branch: TatNIPIneft Research and Design Institute of the Company, where they discussed a wide range of issues on the various activities of the Institute.

The specialists of JSC NC "KazMunaiGaz" familiarized with integrated technologies applied in crude oil fields' development at Arkhangelskoye field of NGDU "Yamashneft".

Kazakh oilmen were interested in the efficiency of the reservoir pressure maintenance (RPM) systems, the technology of oil recovery enhancement, automation process of crude oil production and oil treatment, utilization of associated petroleum gas, corrosion and scaling control.

As part of the visit program the guests from JSC NC "KazMunaiGaz" also studied the experience of the oil service companies operation in Tatarstan.

According to the guests opinion meetings with the representatives of the Company at various locations and enterprises have passed at a good business level with professional conversations and discussion of their concerns.

The delegation business trip resulted in a memorandum of cooperation between the JSC TATNEFT and JSC NC "KazMunaiGas".
