OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2012. To fulfill an order placed by "Burenergo" (Novy Urengoy, Yamalo-Nenetskiy Avtonomny Okrug), "AutoKrAZ" has made a batch of the KrAZ6446 truck tractors for towing semi-trailers with gross weight of up to 48 tons and vertical load of 20 tons, reported the press-centre of Air AutoKrAZ.

The trucks are provided with the YaMZ-238 turbocharged diesel engine (Euro 3) rated at 330 hp and the YaMZ-2381 manual double-rage transmission.

The KrAZ-6446 truck tractors will be used in new oil field business in the Far North for carrying bulky loads and oil products.

12 units have been built and shipped to customer in a very short time, within one month. This is the first delivery to "Burenergo". According to customer's representative, the KrAZ truck tractors have been chosen due to high reliability, safety margin and possibility of use in harsh working environment.
