OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2012. The major work of building a 163-meter long platform section of Lermontovsky Prospekt Station of Moscow Subway Taganskaya - Krasnopresnenskaya Line has been completed. The builders have erected the platform and the station vault in 6 months.

The work on the station vault started in June 2012. Reinforcement and concrete placing were performed using a custom-made slipform. The last section was concreted early in November 2012. The platform was being erected simultaneously with the vault.

Waterproofing is now put in place on the outer side of the vault with an outer protective layer, and backfilling is also underway at Lermontovsky Prospect Station.

The next milestone in the station construction includes trimming and finishing work, utility lines, and track installation.
