OREANDA-NEWS. December 6, 2012. Doctor Web has updated the firewall in Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows and Dr.Web Security Space 7.0 and 8.0, as well as in Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite 7.0 and 8.0 (without centralized administration support) and in version 6.0 (Control Center included).

The update resolves an issue involving a critical system error that would occur in Windows 8 when trying to establish a network connection via PPPoE.

The update will be automatically downloaded by the anti-viruses, but applying it will require a system reboot.
