OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2012. The Government approved the state budget for 2013 before its resignation.

The Cabinet of Ministers considered the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine at a meeting.

After discussion the bill was approved by the Government as a whole – before making public the Decree of the President of Ukraine concerning the resignation of the Government.

Therefore, any speculation regarding the legitimacy of the approved bill has no sense.

According to Article 116 paragraph 6 of the Constitution the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "drafts a law on the State Budget of Ukraine" and this was done strictly in accordance with the law.
