FAS Discusses Requirements to Exchange Trading
OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2012. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) organized a public discussion of requirements for exchange trading, in the course of which economic entities that have dominant market position conclude transactions with oil products, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
The requirements are formulated in a draft Order of FAS Russia and the Ministry of Energy “On Establishing the Minimum Value of Oil Products Sold Through Exchange Trade and Produced and (or) Sold by Economic Entities That Have Dominant Positions on the Relevant Markets, and On Approving the Requirements to Exchange Trading in the Course of Which Economic Entities That Have Dominant Positions on the Relevant Markets Conclude Transactions with Oil Products”.
FAS has reviewed the Order taking into account the discussion of the above requirements with representatives of oil companies. In the near future FAS will forward it to the Ministry of Energy for approval.
Economic entities can read the draft Order at the official FAS web-site and send their comments and proposals to FAS Russia.
FAS has devised the draft Order to enforce Part 5 Article 6 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.
