OREANDA-NEWS. December 5, 2012. Considered one of the most important recognitions to Brazilian scientists, the 26th edition of the Young Scientist Award has as its theme Technological Innovation for Sports. Conducted in partnership between Gerdau, CNPq, General Electric, and the Roberto Marinho Foundation, the award received registration of 2070 papers and the winners were announced on November 26 at the headquarters of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq/MCTI) in Brasilia (DF). The awards are divided into four categories: college graduates, college students, high school students, and institutional merit. The award will be announced on December 5th by President Dilma Rousseff at the Planalto Palace in Brasilia (DF).
