OREANDA-NEWS. December 05, 2012. Moscow Arbitration Court pronounced legitimacy of the decision and determination issued by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) regarding “Skoropuskovoi Sintez” Ltd., reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 9th April 2012, FAS found that “Skoropuskovoi Sintez” Ltd. and “Liga” Ltd. violated Clauses 1 and 3 Part 1 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. The companies concluded an agreement that resulted in fixing and maintaining prices as well as dividing the market of modifiers for raising mixtures by the volume of sale and the categories of buyers.

“This is a hard core cartel that has operated on the market for nearly three years”, said Alexander Kinyov, the Head of FAS Anti-Cartel Department. “The buyers of this product included nearly all tire enterprises in the Russian Federation. Upon the judicial act coming into force, materials regarding the cartel participants will be forwarded to the Ministry of interior to initiate a criminal case”.
