BT One Cloud Launched in Brazil to Increase Businesses Productivity
OREANDA-NEWS. December 04, 2012. BT today announced it has introduced BT One Cloud, a new unified communications service for the Brazilian market designed to increase workforce productivity, motivation and efficiency by reducing travel time and expenses, as well as making it easier to share information.
BT One Cloud is one of 30 products and services launched to support BT’s expansion plans in Latin America. BT One Cloud integrates voice applications with messaging, so that users’ productivity can be substantially increased. Organisations can access the most advanced IP telephony services with reduced capital investment, as it is a “pay per use” service – billed monthly – helping them to respond more rapidly and effectively to the difficult challenges of today’s business environment.
Until now, when companies wanted to take advantage of the benefits offered by this type of service, they had to implement their own virtual private networks with all the necessary equipment. They had to take responsibility for the management and maintenance. They also had to take care of the implementation of other equipment required for offering new services.
BT One Cloud is a 24x7 managed system, offering customers regular updates of the latest technological innovations without using any of their resources..Thus, customers can achieve considerable savings on the management and maintenance of equipment at their facilities and monthly VPN line fees.
Sergio Paulo Gallindo, BT Country Manager in Brazil said: “BT One Cloud supports our clients’ growth and increases their productivity, using existing infrastructure and minimising investments. BT can help businesses to migrate easily to BT One Cloud and eliminate the burden usually associated with these implementations and the complexity of their management. With BT One Cloud, Brazilian companies can now use unified communications to open the door to a new era in business communications and corporate performance.”
Implementing the service does not require a complex project; it is introduced in a transparent and gradual way at the customer’s office. IP telephone terminals can be installed in parallel with the existing telephony infrastructure, but connected to the company’s local area network (LAN). Once the telephone number is available (transfer of existing or new), the user can use the terminal, which will automatically upload his or her profile.
