OREANDA-NEWS. December 4, 2012. The Ural Airlines' technical centre hosted the presentation of the airline's first aircraft with logos of the EXPO 2020 International Exposition. Following mandatory maintenance, the aircraft will be operated on one of Ural Airlines' international flights. In the nearest future, the airline is getting ready to apply insignia of the Exposition to further 3 of its aircraft.

Our reminder: Ural Airlines decided to support Ekaterinburg's bid for hosting the EXPO 2020 International Exposition. The plan includes applying the Exposition logo and the phrase ‘Ekateinburg World Expo 2020. Candidate City' to 4 A320s, in addition to Ural Airlines' corporate colours. The company will perform the entire aircraft repaint work at its own cost. The additional colouring of the aircraft and the mention of Ekaterinburg is supposed to enhance the city's recognition internationally and serve as additional publicity for the city.
