OREANDA-NEWS. December 04, 2012. VAB Bank increased the number of joint programs to develop card direction. In particular, together with the payment systems were carried out actions aimed in increasing the usage of payment cards in the sales and service network, reported the press-centre of VAB.

There are  "Be stylish with MasterCard Selective and VAB", "Be a champion with VAB!", "Pay Visa - get presents," "Win a trip to Paris with Visa Gold!" and others. Jjoint agreement was signed with Ukraine International Airlines, in which VAB Bank customers receive a discount of 7 to 10% when buying tickets by cards. The Bank also held a joint action with discount service "Pokupon", in which customers can buy cards with premium discount of up to 75%.

This marketing strategy has increased the card turnover by 26% compared to the same period in 2011, with 337 mln UAH for the 9 months of 2011 to 424  mln UAH for the 9 months of 2012.

The Bank has introduced a number of programs for borrowers. In particular, agreements were signed on the possibility of repayment with network terminal operators such as Ibox and EasySoft (total of more than 10 thou throughout Ukraine).

In addition, the influx of retail customers was contributed to the increased functionality of the Internet banking, based on the latest developments and technologies in IT-programs for the financial sector. During the first 9 months of 2012, the number of users of the service was raised to nearly 70 mln (2 times more from the beginning of the year). This amount was achieved through expansion of services in the Internet banking system that allows its users conveniently and quickly, without visiting bank branch, to make financial transactions. Increased interest to the service including bill payments, service payments of utility and other companies, as well as opening online deposits that served exclusively by the Internet banking system, such as "With love, VAB!".
