Eni North Africa Resumes Its Exploratory Activity in Libya
OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2012. Eni North Africa (a wholly owned by the Italian oil company Eni) Resumed its exploration activities of oil and gas in Libya.
The initial drilling operations started with the discovery well A1-108/4 located in the contractual area "A” in Sirte Basin, about 300 km south of the city of Benghazi.
The drilling started on Thursday 29/11/2012 and will continue drilling to the target final depth of 14,500 feet and will test the geological layer (Alnobian) at the expected depth of 13,600 feet.
