OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2012. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the total value of industrial goods produced in Chisinau amounted to 12 bln. 777.2 mln. leis against 12 bln. 131.6 mln. leis recorded in the same period of 2011, 5.3% up. Processing production grew 4% to 10.3 bln. leis.

Food and beverages production made up 4.3 bln. leis, 17.7% up as compared with the same period of 2011; tobacco production made up 400.,2 mln. leis (18.3% down); textile production was 81.9 mln. leis, staying unchanged as compared with 9 months of 2011; foot wear production made up 131.8 mln. leis (5.7% up); pharmaceutical production amounted to 155 mln. leis (17.9% down); glass and glass items production was 448.4 mln.leis (24.7% down); concrete, gypsum and cement production made up 407.6 mln. leis (24% up).

Heat, gas and power production grew 12.3% to 2.3 bln. leis. A greatest share of production was manufactured at private companies and made up 38.3%.

The share of production made up 17.7%at public -and -private companies, 15.65 at public enterprises, 16.5% at joint companies and 11.9% at companies owned by foreign capital.
