OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2012. Anhui Chery Auto Co.and Bosch (China) Investment Co.held an opening ceremony for a joint venture in Wuhu, Anhui province on Tuesday, signaling the home-grown automaker, in cooperation with the multinational company, was expanding its reach into the motor meter area.

Bosch Car Multimedia Wuhu Co. will emerge as the technical center and production base for Bosch multimedia meters in the Asian-Pacific region. It will have an annual capacity of 2 million units, Dr. Uwe Thomas,president of the company estimated.

The Germany-based Bosch, the world's leading technology and service supplier, raised an annual revenue of 51.5 billion euros in automobile, industrial and intelligent building technology and consumer goods in 2011.
