OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2012. Li Ming, the previous Minister of Metallurgy, led a delegation and paid a visit to the jobsite of Jiangsu Baosteel Precision Steel Wire Co., Ltd.. This works is contracted by MCC Tiangong Construction Group (CMTCC Group), reported the press-centre of MCC Group.

The delegation was accompanied by Chairman Jian Yanlin of Baosteel Metal Co., Ltd., General Manager Wu Wenhua of Jiangsu Baosteel Precision Steel Wire Co., Ltd., Party Secretary Qian Shen and Vice General Manager Zhou Xuemin of CMTCC Shanghai Branch. The delegation visited the site of the production facilities for the major materials for photovoltaic solar power systems, including sawing wire (with an annual output of 200,000 tons) and the steel cord (with an annual output of 80,000 tons).

Li Ming and his delegation members visited the pretreatment workshop in Zone I, the line-plating workshop in Zone II and the sawing-wire stranding workshop in Zone IV. The delegation was debriefed on the basic information of the project and the implementation progress, as well as the technical process of project execution.

After the on-site inspection, Li Ming placed a high premium on the implementation of the 1st phase project, and gave full recognition to the achievements made by CMTCC Group in engineering quality, safety management and civilized construction on site.
