OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2012. So far there are 5,342 supplier companies registered as part of creating an electronic trading system of procuring material and technical resources for the enterprises of TATNEFT Company, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The Logistics Department (UMTO) of the Company carried out 1,220 two-stage procurement procedures for the total amount of 7, 548 million rubles exclusive of VAT. The first stage was a quotation request, while the second one was a price discount auction among the participants, who assessed the whole lot. 677 auctions had been held successfully in the amount of 2,764 million rubles with additional savings on the price determined at the first stage in the amount of 157 million rubles.

Pursuing the objective of developing an electronic trading platform (ETP), the Logistics Department attracts manufacturers to participate in the electronic trade sessions. To this end the Company arranges joint trips of the Company’s experts to visit manufacturing companies, hold negotiations with personal participation of the manufactures’ management and sends targeted written invitations. To date, negotiations were held with 49 manufacturers with clarification of the Regulations requirements with regard to the procedure of accreditation and substantiating the necessity of providing relevant documents. The ETP funding model changes have been introduced for the purpose of expanding the auction participants’ number, including cancellation of the subscription fee payment by bidders. Consultations are also provided on issues of accreditation and technical audit.

Specific requirements for applicants have been approved for certain nomenclature areas: the supplier can only be accredited provided he is the manufacturer. Hence, only manufacturers can be admitted participate in trading sessions for the supply of pipes, valves, personal protective equipment, etc.

An applicants’ accreditation module was introduced at the ETP in October. Computerization of the existing business process manually performed earlier significantly reduces the time for completion of this procedure.

The Company’s electronic trading platform resources are actively used by subsidiaries of TATNEFT, oil service companies, contractors and independent oil companies. During 11 months of 2012 the service companies and subsidiaries of the Joint Stock Company executed 1,273 procurement procedures in the amount of 3,185 million rubles, while the independent oil companies participated in 229 procurement procedures in the amount of 243.2 million rubles.
