OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2012. “OK RUSAL” published the “Trading Policy of “OK RUSAL – Trading House” OJSC for silicon sale” on its official web-site: www.rusal.ru/clients/products/kremniy.aspx, reported the press-centre of FAS.   

Earlier the FAS Commission established that in August 2010 - November 2011 “OK RUSAL – Trading House” OJSC had created discriminatory conditions for sale of silicon (КR1 grade) regarding “Permtsvetmet” OJSC in breach of Article 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” (abusing market dominance).

Having investigated the case, the FAS Commission issued a determination to “OK RUSAL – Trading House” OJSC to stop violating the antimonopoly law and devise the Trading Policy for silicon sale.

“The Trading Policy for silicon sale will cut down the risks of economic entities abusing market dominance by developing transparent and non-discriminatory rules for sale of monopolistic goods”, emphasized the Head of FAS Department for Control over Industry and Defence Complex, Maksim Ovchinnikov.
