OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2012. Oil Rocks field plays an important role in oil and gas industry of the country. New wells are drilled, as well as idling ones are commissioned there after taking necessary technical measures. For instance, Oil Rocks OGPD, operating the field, takes significant steps in this direction.

 Recently two wells drilled from the platform #1887 have been put into commission after total overhaul. The daily output of the well# 2206 drilled to Fasila Suite makes 15 tons of oil and 14 000 cubic metres of gas. The daily output of the well# 2280 drilled to Horizon VIII of Balakhany Suite from the same platform makes 19 tons of oil.
