Ukrainian Bakeries Extended Cooperation with Agrarian Fund
OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2012. The Agrarian Fund continues intervention flour to baking enterprises. As of today 85 bakeries have extended cooperation agreements with the Agrarian Fund before the end of this year. According to their monthly supply nearly 50 thousand tons of flour. Due to this country manages to keep prices stable for social types of bread. This was stated by Director General of the Agrarian Fund Igor Yakubowych.
"The Agrarian Fund has accumulated sufficient stocks of grain to the state intervention fund for the production of flour. Now there is 1 million 731 thousand tons of wheat and 143 tons of rye in a reserve. 54 enterprises produce flour for intervention. So we can meet the needs of the majority of bakeries in all regions of Ukraine, which specialize in social baking bread", Igor Yakubowych said.
The Director-General also said that 85 bakeries from 20 regions of Ukraine have already continued cooperation agreements with the Agrarian Fund for monthly deliveries of flour until the end of the year.
Igor Yakubowych also noted that the bakeries today have advantageous to buy flour to make bread in the Agrarian Fund. This is due to the fact that prices on it are low then the market price.
