OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2012. The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik (the main manufacturing facilities of PJSC EMAlliance, a member of the power plant concern Power Machines) has manufactured and shipped convection superheater for Nizhnekamskaya TPP. New equipment about 180 tons will be mounted in Boiler TGM-84B Unit No.9.

 Designing, manufacturing and supply of equipment was made in accordance with the contract between EMAlliance and JSC TGK-16 branch – Nizhnekamskaya TPP (PTK-1) signed in April 2012. The design works were made by the specialists of Engineering Center PJSC EMAlliance (Taganrog). Equipment was manufactured by the Taganrog Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik.

 Convection superheater is designed for heating steam up to specified parameters. The peculiarity of the project is changeover to two-stage scheme of convection superheater that allows excluding inlet and outlet headers of one of the stages and reducing the length of non-heated areas of coils. This leads to reduction of convection superheater hydraulic resistance and as a result reduction of costs associated with balance-of-plant needs.

 Design works and convection superheater manufacturing for Nizhnekamskaya TPP allowed creating the object of high performance reliability and maintainability as well as providing its safe operation.
