OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2012. The State Property Committee of the Rebublic of Belarus together with  the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Beltelecom" conducted a presentation on the sale of the state shares  in the authorized capital of JV "Mobile TeleSystems", reported the press-centre of Beltelecom.     

The presenation took place in Minsk in hotel "Europe".

The state share of the Republic of Belarus in the authorized capital of the Belarusian-Russian mobile operator "Mobile TeleSystems" (futher - "МТS") is 51% and is in the economic management of the national telecommunication operator "Beltelecom".

 The presentation of the operator was conducted to demonstrate its capabilities to potential buyers. What is more, the event created a platform for holding preliminary talks on a possible deal.

Thanks to the introduction of innovative technologies and high level of service "MTS" is one of the largest telecom operators in Belarus.
