OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2012. Belarusian imports of beer increased 33.5% on the year in January-September 2012 to 9.38 million decaliters, amounting to USD 55.986 million in value terms, up 28.2%, according to customs statistics.

The largest volume of beer imports was from Russia – over 82% of the total volume. Beer import from Ukraine expanded by 60% following the move of Belarus to abolish import licences for Ukrainian beer, a beer market expert told reporters.
