OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2012. The Belarusian government has adopted a resolution to raise the cigarette production quota for 2012 by 6.3% to 32.03 billion units, nes agency reports with to government resolution #990.

The quota for OJSC Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman has grown by 6.3% to 25.5 billion units. The quota for LLC Tabak-Invest has risen by 4.8% to 6.53 billion units.

There is a special government commission in Belarus to set annual quotas on cigarette production. Quotas may be adjusted on during the year depending on the situation on the market.
